Satellite Station – VMS II-T
Lagafors® Variable Media Satellite, VMS II-T, is an advanced and improved version of its predecessor, the VMS-T. The unit’s dimensions have been reduced, and its serviceability has been enhanced. It is hygienically designed and connects to one of Lagafors® pump centers for water and the Lagafors® Chemical Center VCC for chemical dosing.
VMS II-T has been primarily developed to meet the needs of the meat industry. The main advantage of the VMS II-T is that it is an all-in-one unit that allows the use of up to four different media, typically: alkaline chemical, acidic chemical, disinfectant, and water. For example, the satellite station can handle both alkaline and acidic chemicals through parallel outlets without requiring cleaning of the unit when switching from one type of chemical to another. This represents a truly revolutionary solution in terms of both convenience and operator safety.
The VMS II-T is made entirely of stainless steel. It is easy to operate with an integrated color-coding system for ball valves and nozzles. All media settings are configured centrally, so users do not need to make any adjustments. The satellite station is user-friendly, easy to maintain, and easy to clean both inside and out, thanks to its open underside.
The VMS II-T consists of:
- Color-coded ball valves for each media
- Stainless steel housing and sloped top for improved hygiene
- Unique mixing unit for chemicals and disinfectants
- Quick couplings for switching media
- Easy to install and connect
- Well-thought-out design
- “All-in-one” principle
- Distributes chemical solution, no concentrates
- Time-efficient
- Easy to clean
- Only one hose to handle
- No concentrate handling for the user
- Lower installation costs
- Good from a hygiene perspective
- Saves time during cleaning
- Reduced risk in the work environment
