Satellite Station – VMS II-Combi

Lagafors® Variable Media Satellite, VMS II-Combi, is an advanced and improved version of its predecessor, the VMS-Combi. The unit’s dimensions have been reduced, and its serviceability has been enhanced. It is hygienically designed and connects to one of Lagafors® pump centers for water and to the Lagafors® Chemical Center VCC for chemical dosing.

The unit is wall-mounted in the production area and is adapted for water pressure between 10 and 160 bar. Thanks to the integrated injector, the VMS II-Combi variant handles both centrally dosed chemicals and disinfectants, as well as an optional additional chemical. This unit is mainly intended as an option when the customer wants central dosing, but it also functions well in locations where a different agent (e.g., acidic) might be used at varying intervals. This provides great application flexibility while maintaining operator safety through central dosing.

The VMS II-Combi is made entirely of stainless steel. It is easy to operate with an integrated color-coding system for ball valves and nozzles. The satellite station is user-friendly, easy to maintain, and easy to clean both inside and out, thanks to its open underside.

The VMS II-Combi consists of:

• Color-coded ball valves for each media
• Stainless steel housing and sloped top for improved hygiene
• Unique concept consisting of a mixing unit for centrally dosed chemicals and disinfectants, as well as an integrated injector for optional chemicals
• Quick couplings for switching media
